Job description

Job Title: Vice President, SaaS - Industry Practice Development

Location: Tempe, AZ (Onsite/Hybrid)

Type: Full-Time Permanent

Salary: $150,000 - 160,000

This role requires deep SaaS and GTM experience, along with a strong track record of building within a specific vertical from the ground up. If that’s not aligned with your background, this may not be the right fit. We are looking for a builder — someone who has taken a single vertical market and created a thriving practice around it. This is not a “keep the lights on” leadership role. This is a greenfield opportunity to create a new specialty practice inside a growing SaaS company.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and executing the go-to-market strategy for your vertical.
  • Leading early sales cycles yourself, carrying quota and closing lighthouse customers.
  • Building the playbook — repeatable messaging, sales motions, campaigns, and ROI models.
  • Partnering cross-functionally with product and marketing to shape offerings.
  • Growing the practice into a multi-million dollar revenue stream.

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in one vertical (e.g., financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, customer engagement).
  • Proven success building or scaling a new business line, practice, or solution from scratch.
  • A track record of carrying quota and driving early sales.
  • Deep domain expertise in a single industry and a strong professional network.
  • Entrepreneurial drive — comfortable creating structure where none exists.

This role is highly visible, customer-facing, and revenue-focused. You will set the blueprint for a new practice that becomes a cornerstone of the company’s growth.
