Vice President, Investment Operations Solutions

Role Summary

The Vice President, Investment Operations Solution Leader is a critical leadership role responsible for defining and executing the strategy for a Tier 1 Investment Operations product portfolio. This executive will drive product vision, operational excellence, and business outcomes while ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and client needs. The role owns the product strategy, roadmap execution, governance framework, and performance against financial and operational objectives, including P&L accountability.

The successful candidate will serve as a cross-functional leader who brings together technology, operations, architecture, risk, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that improve client outcomes, simplify operational complexity, and drive measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Investment Operations product strategy, vision, and objectives, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities, client needs, and portfolio goals.
  • Establish and manage product OKRs and KPI frameworks that measure adoption, business value realization, operational efficiency, and time-to-value.
  • Own and steward strategic product roadmaps that translate business priorities into measurable outcomes across investment operations value streams.
  • Drive product performance and profitability, maintaining accountability for achieving business growth, client satisfaction, and P&L objectives.
  • Establish governance, prioritization, and readiness frameworks that improve delivery consistency, regulatory compliance, reliability, and risk management.
  • Partner with architecture, technology, and operations leaders to implement simplification strategies, reduce operational friction, and improve platform resiliency.
  • Lead executive governance forums, including Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), leveraging data-driven insights to guide investment decisions and portfolio optimization.
  • Foster collaboration across business, operations, technology, risk, and client-facing teams to establish enterprise standards, resolve bottlenecks, and accelerate strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 12+ years of leadership experience within Investment Operations, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Capital Markets, or Financial Services.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale product strategies and complex operational transformations.
  • Proven success managing executive stakeholder relationships and influencing decision-making across multiple business functions.
  • Strong knowledge of investment operations workflows, operational controls, governance practices, and regulatory considerations.
  • Experience establishing product roadmaps, success metrics, and operating models that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing or contributing to business performance, revenue growth, and P&L objectives.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational change management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide product organizations or large strategic investment operations platforms.
  • Track record of delivering platform modernization, process simplification, and operational efficiency programs.
  • Experience developing governance frameworks, portfolio management disciplines, and executive performance reporting.
  • Familiarity with agile product management methodologies and modern technology-enabled operating models.


FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $242,710.00 - $412,610.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
