Position Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on Additive Manufacturing Engineer to join our fast-paced production team. You’ll play a key role in managing client projects, optimizing print processes, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret customer CAD files and prepare them for additive manufacturing.
  • Select appropriate materials and technologies (SLS, SLA, FDM, MJF, etc.) based on project requirements.
  • Operate and maintain industrial 3D printers and post-processing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot print issues and optimize build parameters for quality and throughput.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to provide technical input and project feasibility assessments.
  • Ensure timely delivery of parts while maintaining strict quality standards.
  • Document workflows and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in additive manufacturing, preferably in a service or production environment.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
  • Familiarity with slicing software and build preparation tools (e.g., Magics).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with plastic AM technologies and post-processing.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
