Job Summary

Succession Capital is the largest, longest running, and most respected premium financing program in the country. Since 1996 we have been the most resource for advisors and their HNW clients to maximize the value of insurance assets. For over 20 years, the Succession Capital team has worked to continually refine CMS, enhance it and integrate it with advanced insurance strategies. We have assisted advisors in placing than $70B of protection and $7B of financed premium. Our Capital Maximization Strategy is the smart way to purchase largeinsurance policies: aflexible, tailored, effective option for paying life insurance premiums.
The Regional Vice President works closely with the Chief Distribution Officer and internal underwriting team to provide sales support to Succession Capital's high net-worth clients and their advisors. This highly visible position plays an integral role in the implementation and successful closure of multi-million-dollar cases. As an extension of our firm's principles and brand, you will be responsible for generating new leads through prospecting new and existing customers. Driving brand awareness with our producer groups and identifying new opportunities for revenue generation will be emphasized.
As the point person to the client, this role requires a high level of professionalism, quick problem-solving ability, multi-tasking and solid experience reading and understanding financial documents, ie. Personal/Corporate tax returns, Investment Statements, Irrevocable/Revocable Trusts, Estate Planning Documents, Balance/Financial Statements, etc. Equally important is expertise and knowledge of capital gains tax, income tax, and estate tax. You will be responsible for resolving all client issues and questions and ensuring the highest level of customer service and success.
A key function of this role will be to coordinate case management activities with our internal underwriting operations team. Working closely with firm's illustration team, the Regional Vice President will be responsible for running reviews of the case designs and directing them to make the proper revisions. These case designs require an analytical review, and the ability to know what adjustments to make to ensure perfection for the advisor and client presentations. Additionally, you will work directly with the client's financial advisor to explain the illustration, ensure they understand it, and close them.
A blend of high level analytical and financial skills with sales and interpersonal expertise is the winning combination for success! This new position has been created to support and train the next "Rising Star" at Succession Capital and top producer in the Premium Financing industry!

Job Description

General Duties:

  • Develop existing and new business relationships
  • Sources potential new business deals through prospecting activities
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating the requirements for each case with our underwriting operations team, principals, advisor, carrier and lender partners
  • Coordinates various financial and insurance underwriting issues.
  • Develop one on one relationships with selected firm clients and their advisors along with selected firm contacts.
  • Work closely with firm's illustration team
  • Utilize firm's CRM to manage all workflows and case notes.
  • Maintain and enhance firm's reputation as a, "Can-Do" organization and the leader in our industry.
  • Assist in the firm's marketing efforts with emphasis on webinars and group meetings.
  • Attend periodic off-site networking events and conferences
  • Accept ownership of all aspects of an assigned client.

Qualifications and Skills

A successful RVP will have various skills and qualifications needed to do an excellent job, including:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Advanced degree a plus
  • Closing and prospecting skills
  • Territory management
  • High energy level
  • Meeting sales goals
  • High level of proficiency in Excel required
  • Must be life insurance licensed or able to get licensed in the first 6 months
  • Experience using a CRM, experience with Salesforce a plus, but not required
  • Understanding or ability to learn complex Life Insurance illustrations and company's CMS financing spreadsheet.
  • Some level of familiarity with things like LIBOR, Treasury Yields, S&P 500 historical information preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, process improvement and efficiency expertise
  • Ability to work independently and at a quick pace
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and resource management skills.
