We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Infrastructure Engineering (DB2) to join our TSG Mainframe Services team. This role is located in Jersey City, Pittsburgh, PA and Lake Mary,FL.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Very sound technical DB2 Database Administration skills
  • Enjoy working with and assisting application developers with a variety of technical database issues and questions
  • Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail with following policies and procedures
  • Detail oriented and be able to complete a variety of priority requests that come from a number of different application areas within the enterprise

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Advanced certifications in infrastructure engineering or related disciplines preferred. EXPERIENCE - Typically 6-10 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of DB2 mainframe environments supporting critical business application services for high availability, resiliency, performance tuning, and problem resolution
  • Ability to use and manage DBADb2 Utilities
  • Proficient in SQL tuning and Performance Problem determination and resolution
  • Knowledge of Db2 Database Recovery scenarios
  • Knowledge of vendor (BMC and Broadcom) SQL Performance and administration tools

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $149,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
