Managing Director, Healthcare

Synergetics is seeking a Managing Director, Healthcare to lead and grow our Healthcare practice. This is a highly visible leadership role for a proven healthcare consulting executive who excels at both delivering operational transformation and building trusted relationships with Private Equity firms and C-suite healthcare leaders.

This is more than a delivery role. You'll help shape the future of our Healthcare practice by leading client engagements, developing new business, and building a high-performing consulting team.

What You'll Do
  • Lead complex healthcare consulting engagements from assessment through implementation, delivering measurable operational and financial improvements.
  • Build and grow relationships with healthcare executives, Private Equity firms, and portfolio companies.
  • Originate and close new consulting engagements.
  • Lead proposals, presentations, and executive client discussions.
  • Mentor and develop healthcare consultants while helping expand the Healthcare practice.
  • Represent Synergetics at industry events and within the healthcare community.
  • What We're Looking For
  • 15+ years of professional experience, including at least 10 years in management consulting. Experience with a toptier global consulting firm is strongly preferred, particularly Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, Accenture, or a leading healthcarefocused consultancy.
  • Deep expertise within healthcare services, such as hospitals, health systems, physician groups, ambulatory care, postacute care, behavioral health, or PEbacked healthcare organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading largescale operational improvement and performance transformation initiatives.
  • Strong business development experience with a proven ability to originate and close consulting engagements.
  • Experience working with Private Equity sponsors and healthcare portfolio companies is highly preferred.
  • Executive presence with the ability to build credibility with CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and investor groups.
  • Experience leading consulting teams and managing multiple client engagements.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MHA, MPH, or other advanced degree preferred.
