  • Develops plans, and coordinates regionalsales and marketing strategies to meet business objectives and achieve maximumresults. Continually evaluates the timely adjustment of marketing strategy andplans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Provides planning and developingorder and quotation volumes, profit margin goals, and operating expense budgetsfor a regional market.
  • Plans,organizes, all sales activities for a regional market to achieve or exceed theplanned goals for volume
    andmargins.
  • Evaluatesthe results being achieved and initiates organizational changes or any othercorrective action
    necessaryto improve the sales effort.
  • Plans, establishes and maintainsa sound and effective regional sales capable ofย ย  achieving desired sales coverage, marketpenetration and volume and margin goals.
  • Personallymaintains contact with major customers and prospects to close a sale, promotegood will, or to
    providea basis for continued or future business. Provides feedback to the VP of Saleson
    competitiveactivities, pricing, product acceptance, etc. Implements a target accountprogram to insure the
    penetrationof large potential accounts.
  • Developsand enters new markets as rapidly as circumstances permit.
  • Remainssensitive to the needs of the regional market and ascertains whether changesare required;
    recommendswhen appropriate company systems and equipment are suitable for use therein.
  • Providesliaison and serves as coordinator between customers, prospects, and nationalsales organization,
    andthe company to assure good communications and adequate information regardingproposed sales or a
    projectin process.
  • Participatesin final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of given selling situationsconsidering the
    degreeof potential technical and financial risk for the company.
  • Attendstrade fairs and shows to direct or participate in demonstrations of companysystems or equipment,
    tobuild good will for the company with customers or prospects, and to report oncompetitive developments
    asobserved at such functions.
  • Supportssales efforts beyond assigned geographic area as requested by the companyPresident and/or VP Sales and / or the National Sales Manager
  • Conductsbusiness in an ethical way that:
