The Retail Assistant Store Manager is the primary support to their Store Manager in driving a performance based culture within their location, while focusing on delivering exceptional customer experience. The Assistant Manager should be passionate about fashion, styling, client connection, and developing talent. The Assistant Manager leads in partnership with their Store Manager and is a brand ambassador for our customer and internal team. 


Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Monitor and assess retail store performance, including sales, profit, product levels by season, and general compliance with company standards and policies in partnership with Store Leadership.
  • Experience with clienteling and 1x1 shopping. 
  • Support in executing strategies to increase sales and profitability in store & deliver strong results through positive year over year growth and stable KPIs. 
  • Apply a strong understanding of business acumen to drive the business, identify opportunities, and help build longterm solutions.
  • Understand and support operational execution of the store to achieve necessary revenue targets.
  • Provide incite to uphold consistent inventory accuracy and controls in store.
  • Address customer complaints in partnership with VP of Retail & Store Leadership and resolve issues as they arise to retain customers and drive customer loyalty. 
  • Manage the execution of an elevated client experience acting as a brand ambassador - embody brand values, engage customers on the brand.
  • Partner with Store Leadership on staffing and hiring
  • Partner directly with your Direct Supervisor and HR team for support on performance discussions, safety discussions, and any other HR issues. 
  • Provide real-time and weekly feedback on product and sales performance to Store Leadership to influence allocations and the success of the business
  • Manage the day-to-day performance of the retail store team, enabling an incredible employee experience.

Required Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Minimum of 3 years Retail Store Management Experience required.
  • Proven experience in working within a sales driven environment.
  • Customer centric - proven ability to foster and maintain personal relationships with clients to build brand loyalty for Revolve & FWRD
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross functional team environment setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities (customers, team members, HQ partners, etc.)
  • Ability to cascade and communicate clear objectives and inspire the team to reach their highest potential
  • Ability to efficiently execute operationally, adhering to processes and systems to maximize team and business results, and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to stand, lift (within reason) on the sales floor and operationally in BOH
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to support the business 
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial sense of urgency and ability to prioritize important work with good judgement & reason

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Must have open availability for a flexible work schedule that meets the needs of the business, including overnights, evenings, holidays and weekends
  • Understanding of Retail Labor Laws
  • GSuite experience a plus
