Berkadia is seeking a Vice President (VP) with 5-10 years of relevant industry experience to join the Multifamily Investment Sales team in our Irvine office. This role will support and partner with the Investment Sales Advisors to successfully execute the operations of the team's transactions across Southern California. The VP will quarterback the deal process which includes financial modeling and underwriting, preparation of institutional-quality marketing collateral, in-depth market research and analysis, and transaction due diligence. The role also includes meaningful responsibility for client and investor communication, guidance and mentorship for junior team members, and support of overall transaction strategy. This role is best suited for a high-performing professional with a deep interest in the multifamily sector, strong initiative, and the ability to lead effectively within a collaborative team environment.

         Serve as a strategic leader by managing the deal analysis processes to support the client base, drive team success, and achieve production goals.

         Analyze financial statements, rent rolls, and other property documents to provide strategic insights and recommendations.  

         Utilize and maintain databases tracking investment sales activity, construction pipeline, and other relevant real estate metrics. 

         Lead in creating the presentation of complex financial analyses to clients providing strategic advice and actionable insights.  

         Review industry surveys and benchmarks, economic and demographic trends to identify opportunities and risks for clients. 

         Actively lead the research, writing, and quality control of market intelligence for high impact marketing materials. 

         Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the team and clients to understand and anticipate their needs.

         Effectively simplify and communicate complex ideas in writing and through advanced data visualization techniques to a diverse audience including senior management and executives.  

         Demonstrate a track-record of high performance within a deadline driven environment, consistently delivering outstanding results.  

         Exhibit strong leadership in prioritizing tasks, managing multiple assignments, and adapting to rapidly changing priorities in a team environment. 

         Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance analytical processes and methodologies, ensuring best practices are followed.

         Expert-level MS Excel skills.

         Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).

         Experience in client-facing interactions/responsibilities.

         Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.

         Ability to work effectively both as an individual and as part of a team.

         Ability to simplify and effectively communicate complex ideas in writing and through data visualization techniques to diverse audiences.  

         Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance financial modeling, market research, or document production a plus.

         At least 5 years of financial analysis in commercial real estate.
