Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY
This position requires an executive with deep experience in financial principles and business strategy development with the ability to navigate the requirements of a dynamic and complex organization. The incumbent will be involved in 'hands on' business and change management activities while providing leadership, direction and focus to ChemTreat. The incumbent must be able to work as an effective business partner with the ChemTreat President and leadership team to drive synergies / efficiencies across the organization.
The CFO is an active participant in senior management commercial strategy planning, financial planning and results, and is charged with providing concise, accurate, and timely analysis of the key business trends and financial metrics reporting/analysis.
This position has the overall responsibility for the monitoring and reporting of the financial position of ChemTreat and provides clear interpretation of the results to effectively drive meaningful improvements and ensure that all reports are accurate and timely.
The candidate should have proven experience in a large international public company.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
  • BS or BA Degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA Degree and/or CPA are preferred
  • Substantial operational experience in increasingly responsible financial leadership positions leading to the CFO or VP Finance position in a complex, global enterprise
  • Experience for full financial ownership of at least a $400M-$500M P&L
  • International experience is required along with strong global business perspective while functioning in a multinational organization with multiple business units.
  • Experience in the financial aspects of acquisitions and divestitures, including due diligence and post-merger integration.
  • Previous experience at a VP level or equivalent for a minimum of five years or more.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 20% of the time

Data and Systems
  • Ownership of development and improvement of core financial systems (ERP) necessary for timely and accurate reporting of ChemTreat financials
  • Partner with Commercial leadership/Operations to develop financial reporting that drives insights and timely decision making
  • Provide strategy for financial data that eliminates waste in reporting and streamline financial analysis
  • Continuously improve transactional closing processes from a time, accuracy and productivity perspective

Financial Analysis/Management Support
  • Work closely with the President and functional leaders in conducting detailed financial and business analyses to identify potential problems, determine root causes and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Develop and maintain forecasting processes that accurately predict future performance and motivate actions to ensure it hits agreed upon target
  • Assist ChemTreat's financial portion of the strategic planning process, ensure that results from initiative are properly scoped, presented, tracked, and reported
  • Generate the annual financial budget for ChemTreat
  • Submission of accurate financial statements that are compliance with US GAAP and Veralto accounting practices
  • Drive the use of the Veralto Enterprise System (VES) and continuous improvement within the Finance Organization
  • Prior responsibility providing accurate, timely consolidation of global operating functions in complex organization
  • Provide input for tax planning; compliance with all federal, state, and local corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes
  • Assist functional areas in identifying and carrying out business initiatives to improve profits, reduce assets, and improve efficiency
  • Review and analyze all requests for capital expenditure to ensure an appropriate ROI consistent with locations' overall financial goals

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $275000 - $325000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus / Incentive Pay.
