The Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Director to lead strategic growth initiatives within our FICO Score Auto Industry Practice, with a particular focus on large depository lenders. Reporting to the VP of Auto Industry Practice, you will partner with our Scores Auto Team to develop and execute market expansion strategies that drive continued adoption across the auto financing ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings proven expertise in advancing solutions within Auto Finance and Auto Dealer markets, with a track record of delivering transformational business results. The right candidate will serve as our strategic compass for the auto industry - someone who can translate market trends into actionable strategies while building the relationships that will define FICO's future in auto financing. This role has the potential to significantly impact both our business trajectory and the industry.

What You'll Contribute

  • Drive strategic planning and execution to protect and expand FICO Score market share within the auto industry ecosystem, with a particular focus on large depository lenders.

  • Develop multi-year growth strategies with detailed industry segmentation and market positioning to optimize go-to-market effectiveness.

  • Build C-level trust with auto lenders, dealers, and solution providers, positioning FICO Scores as the industry standard.

  • Serve as primary strategic advisor to the VP of Auto, delivering industry insights to the FICO Scores Leadership Team.

  • Generate market insights and competitive analysis that inform pricing and positioning.

  • Provide thought leadership through client engagements, industry events, and strategic presentations.

  • Resolve complex client and solution challenges through strategic recommendations on contracting, pricing, and service delivery.

What We're Seeking

  • Extensive, demonstrated experience in credit strategy, credit risk, risk-based pricing, and/or business strategy, with a proven track record of using credit scores to advance business objectives within depository lending (Required).

  • Demonstrated progressive leadership experience in the auto financing ecosystem, with proven success delivering enterprise solutions with auto lenders and automotive dealers (Required).

  • Expert-level client partner engagement skills, with a consultative selling approach and the ability to translate complex, ambiguous business challenges into tailored solutions.

  • Relevant industry experience, with proven experience acting as an external liaison/advisor to executives, data resellers, or automotive solution providers.

  • Proven success in product/service management, strategic planning, and partner relationship development.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities with external executives and key stakeholders, including compelling storytelling and executive-level material development.

  • Strong analytical capabilities, with experience developing market insights and competitive positioning strategies.

  • Ability to travel 25-30% based on client needs and industry events.

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA or advanced degree, or equivalent working experience within a relevant industry (Strongly Preferred).
