Our client, luxury fashion company, is looking for a Sr. Staff Accountant to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office in Midtown Manhattan. The successful candidate will have experience with SAP FICO or S/4HANA modules, strong technical accounting capabilities, and possess excellent problem solving skills.

Role Overview: - Contract Role: 3+ months
- Pay: $35-40+/hr on W2 (No C2C)
- Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite
Responsibilities: - Manage month-end close activities
- Prepare and process journal entries
- Oversee the General Ledger
- Perform account reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports related to AP, aging reports, cash flow forecasts, etc.
- Fixed asset accounting
- Support team with ad hoc requests for an SAP S/4HANA implementation
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business concentration is preferred
- 3+ years of corporate accounting experience is required, experience working within a multinational corporation is preferred
- Retail accounting experience is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, experience with SAP FICO or S/4HANA is required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
