Job description

[solidcore] is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Finance Manager to join our team! This is a high-visibility role with a leader in the boutique fitness sector and at a rapidly growing company with a collaborative culture. This role is hybrid, with 3 days per week in our Arlington, VA office near Washington D.C.

As a key member of our finance team, you'll own the corporate finance infrastructure that supports our senior leaders, investors, and lenders. This position reports directly to the VP of Finance and plays a meaningful role in the analysis and materials that shape the company’s financial narrative, capital structure and executive-level decision-making across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with an investment banking or private equity background who is ready to step into an operating role with significant ownership and exposure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and maintain the company's corporate financial model, ensuring it accurately reflects business performance and supports forecasting, scenario analysis, and strategic planning

  • Manage debt covenant calculations and cash flow forecasting, including monitoring compliance and proactively flagging changing trends

  • Field questions from investors and support investor relations, including preparation of externally facing financial analyses and presentations

  • Play a critical role in creating monthly and quarterly board materials, translating financial results into clear, executive-ready narratives

  • Review and summarize monthly financial performance across the business, identifying key trends, variances, and opportunities

  • Develop and improve tools to support the annual budgeting process 

  • Coordinate due diligence processes across all departments

  • Perform ad hoc strategic and financial analysis to support leadership decision-making

  • Partner cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and studio teams to ensure financial models and analyses reflect ground-level business dynamics

Requirements:

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel-based financial modeling skills; ability to build, maintain, and stress-test complex models from scratch

  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint for executive and board presentations

  • Experience with NetSuite or a comparable accounting system

  • SQL or data visualization experience (e.g., Tableau) a plus

  • Familiarity with debt instruments, covenant structures, and lender reporting

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear, compelling materials for senior leadership, the Board, and investors

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a high standard for accuracy in all deliverables

  • Growth mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and intellectual curiosity

  • Strong team player who collaborates effectively across functions and levels of seniority

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in investment banking or private equity required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required

  • Operating company experience a plus

  • MBA or CFA a plus
