Job description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Grafana dashboards for Boomi integrations and associated services.
  • Monitor integration health, transaction volumes, processing times, latency, error rates, failures, retries, and service availability.
  • Define meaningful metrics, visualizations, thresholds, and alerts for Boomi integration monitoring.
  • Analyze Boomi and integration data to identify trends, performance issues, recurring failures, and potential service risks.
  • Collaborate with integration, application, infrastructure, SRE, and operations teams to define monitoring and reporting requirements.
  • Improve observability across Boomi processes, environments, runtimes, APIs, and integrations.
  • Configure and maintain Grafana alerts and notifications based on operational requirements.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations that support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
  • Validate dashboard data for accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Establish dashboard standards, templates, naming conventions, and documentation.
  • Document data sources, dashboard functionality, alert logic, and operational procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to automate monitoring, reporting, and operational workflows.
  • Provide technical guidance on Grafana visualization and Boomi observability best practices.
Required Technical Skills
  • Hands-on experience developing and administering Grafana dashboards.
  • Strong experience with the Boomi integration platform, including integration processes, APIs, runtimes, and related components.
  • Experience monitoring enterprise integrations and distributed applications.
  • Strong understanding of integration metrics, logging, error handling, retries, latency, throughput, and availability.
  • Experience working with Grafana data sources, including time-series databases, logs, APIs, and relational databases.
  • Proficiency in creating Grafana queries, variables, visualizations, drilldowns, and alerts.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, operations, application support, and SRE teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Grafana Alerting, dashboard-as-code, or observability automation.
  • Knowledge of Prometheus, Loki, Elasticsearch, Splunk, InfluxDB, SQL, REST APIs, or similar monitoring technologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and enterprise integration architectures.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, SRE, CI/CD, and infrastructure monitoring practices.
  • Experience creating operational runbooks and technical support documentation.
  • Knowledge of API monitoring, event-driven integrations, and message-based architectures.
  • Relevant Grafana, Boomi, cloud, or observability certifications.
