RNs- PICC and Vascular Access Consultant
VIC THE PICC is a company dedicated to providing its customers with the best vascular access services available. As a PICC Nurse with VIC the PICC, you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting. If you are looking for a change and tired of 12 hours on your feet or rushing from patient to patient with no time to provide quality care, this would be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a VIC the PICC Vascular Access Consultant RN you will:
  • Place PICC's, midlines and peripheral IV's with ultrasound and use ECG confirmation.
  • Assist with management of PICC;s and vascular access devices
  • Provide a wide range of vascular access including but not limited to port access, removal of lines, declotting PICC's, etc.
  • Educate nursing staff regarding PICC's, midlines and many other CVAD's

In this role, you will be visiting patients in different facilities. You must be willing to travel to patient visits and be able to participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs. On-call requirements are: two- three days per week, including weekends and participate in the holiday rotation.

We provide PICC's, Midline and Peripheral insertions, as well as all types of vascular access and Continuing Education, Precepting and Consulting for Hospitals, Long-Term Care and other Healthcare Facilities. VIC the PICC offers the following services 24/7/365: PICC/Midline placement with Ultrasound, ECG guidance technology for PICC confirmation, Peripheral IV insertions, declotting, line removal, port access, and 24/7/365 triage nursing services.

PICC RN QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Registered Nurse with current license
  • Minimum of 3 years� experience in acute care preferred
  • Experienced in PICC placements with ultrasound
  • Have and maintain current CPR certification
  • Possess a current and valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Ability to work independently
  • Participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs
  • Must possess a smart phone
  • Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to patient sites
  • Must LOVE Vascular Access
