As one of only 12 Toyota dealerships nationwide to win the prestigious President's Award for exceptional performance, we maintain the highest standards in every aspect of our operation-including our lot and inventory management.
We're currently in the middle of a $26 million construction project to transform our facilities, and we're looking for an experienced, self-motivated Sales/Inventory Porter who takes pride in maintaining a dealership lot that reflects our commitment to excellence.
About the Role
As our Sales/Inventory Porter, you are the backbone of our sales operation. You'll be responsible for managing our dealership lot-ensuring every vehicle is positioned perfectly, inventory is organized efficiently, and our lot reflects the premium experience customers expect from a President's Award-winning dealership.
This role requires a leader and self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team. You'll own your area of responsibility while collaborating with sales, service, and management to keep our operation running smoothly.
What You'll Do:
Inventory Management:
  • Manage and organize the dealership lot, ensuring all vehicles for sale are displayed in an orderly, efficient, and attractive manner
  • Stock new and used vehicles into inventory system and key track
  • Continuously monitor and maintain lot organization throughout the day
  • Work closely with New and Used Car Directors to maintain optimal inventory placement
  • Move inventory strategically based on sales priorities and lot flow

Daily Operations:
  • Maintain customer parking areas to ensure a welcoming experience
  • Move vehicles as needed for service, sales, or lot reorganization
  • Ensure lot is clean, organized, and presentation-ready at all times
  • Respond quickly to requests from sales and management teams
  • Take initiative to identify and resolve lot organization issues proactively

Quality Standards:
  • Maintain the highest standards of lot appearance and vehicle presentation
  • Ensure vehicles are parked neatly, straight, and in designated areas
  • Monitor for any lot maintenance needs and communicate to appropriate team members
What We're Looking For
Required:
  • Previous automotive inventory/lot porter experience REQUIRED
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive manual/standard transmission vehicles
  • Self-starter and leader mentality - able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable - this is an opening shift position
  • "Can-do" attitude and strong initiative
  • Ability to work weekends as needed
  • Physical ability to drive and move vehicles throughout the day

Preferred:
  • Experience at a high-volume dealership
  • Knowledge of dealership inventory management systems
