What we are looking for:
The Performance Specialist will help generate flawlessly translated visual dubs from AI-powered cinematic Performance Transfer. Accurately review & articulate lip sync output. Review, QC, and refine automated outputs at every stage. Review face tracking results with an eye for quality output. Accurately interpret and address feedback from both internal creative stakeholders & clients. Give detailed feedback on processes and collaborate with colleagues to develop best practices on current and future assistive AI film tools from Flawless.

Job Responsibilities:
Creative Execution & Delivery
  • Use Flawless tools to craft, refine, and deliver high-quality visual dubs for film and TV content
  • Shape performances with a strong artistic eye, ensuring natural lip sync, facial realism, and emotional authenticity
  • Take ownership of assigned shots or sequences, delivering client-ready work within deadlines

Shot Finishing & Refinement
  • Review face tracking, keyframes, and timing to elevate output quality at a detailed, frame-accurate level
  • Perform precise lip sync adjustments and audio alignment to ensure seamless performance transfer
  • Iterate on outputs based on creative direction and feedback, pushing work to final quality

Collaboration & Workflow Contribution
  • Collaborate with creative, production, and engineering teams to meet project goals and timelines
  • Interpret and implement feedback from stakeholders and clients with clarity and accuracy
  • Contribute to evolving artistic workflows and best practices for AI-assisted editing and performance tools

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in film, TV, animation, or post-production in a hands-on creative role
  • Strong understanding of lip sync and audio synchronization at a sub-frame level
  • Experience with keyframing and shot-based work in editing, VFX, or animation pipelines
  • Proven ability to deliver polished, client-ready creative work under deadlines
  • High attention to detail with strong visual judgment and finishing sensibility
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills for interpreting and applying creative feedback

Bonus
  • Experience with Nuke, Davinci Resolve or After Effects
  • Familiarity with face tracking tools and performance-based workflows
  • Background as an Edit Assistant, VFX Editor, or Animator
  • Interest in linguistics or performance across languages
