Veterinary Regional Sales Manager - Royal Canin

Location: Denver, CO / Phoenix, AZ / Albuquerque, NM

Field Based Role

The Vet Regional Manager will execute defined sales programs to achieve regional sales and financial goals. This position focuses on effective leadership of field sales associates, execution of sales strategy and objectives, and engagement of internal and external stakeholders in the business.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Administration, Marketing or Animal Science preferred

  • 3+ Years sales experience working with leading multi- functional teams

  • Business acumen in Veterinary industry

  • People Management experience in a mentoring/coaching or line manager role

  • Strong Communication skills

  • Valid Driver's License & Clean Driving Record

  • Availability to travel 70% of time

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Achieve profitable sales growth objectives within assigned region through leadership of District Sales Managers

  • Achieve product penetration and focus objectives within assigned region

  • Implement the Royal Canin Veterinary sales strategy and sales process within the assigned region

  • Coach and develop District Managers to help them build their business, achieve growth objectives and KPIs

  • Develop a High-Performance Team Collaboration environment through engagement of direct reports, coach and develop team to meet current responsibilities and prepare them for personal and professional growth.

  • Respond to elevated customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions and company meetings as required. Manage expenses and trade budgets.

  • Become thoroughly indoctrinated and knowledgeable on the Veterinary product line and sales processes to apply knowledge to District Managers and clinics

Thebase pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the below range, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, andexperience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay & general allowances (depending on the positionand employee's work schedule). Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicablepolicies andplans then in effect, and depending on the position offered and the employee's work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule), eligible employees are automatically enrolled in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents, and may be eligible to take up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave.Employees will also receivethe following paid-time off (which may be prorated based on start date and the employee's work schedule):120 hours of vacation per year, paid sick time for eligible Associates of 100% pay continuation for a maximum of 40 hours per calendar year,and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year that include both fixed and flexible holidays.
