We are a busy, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital with 3 veterinarians seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant who loves both people and pets.

Who Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Veterinary Assistant with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Minimum 1 year of veterinary experience preferred
  • Comfortable answering phones and interacting with clients
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and confident in a fast-paced setting
  • Able to work independently while thriving as part of a team
  • Anesthesia and surgery monitoring experience is a plus
  • Prior experience in a high-volume practice preferred
  • Familiarity with Impromed is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient care and support veterinarians during exams
  • Monitor anesthesia and surgical patients
  • Answer phones and assist clients with professionalism and compassion
  • Check patients in and out
  • Communicate treatment plans and care instructions clearly to clients
