Position Summary

Texas Healthtech Institute is seeking a Military & Veterans Outreach and Enrollment Manager to expand enrollment among veterans, active-duty and transitioning service members, military spouses, and eligible family members. The position will develop military and veteran community partnerships, support the Institute's collaboration with the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC), and build a strong student recruitment pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute recruitment and outreach strategies for military-connected students, guiding prospects from initial inquiry through enrollment.
  • Promote Texas Healthtech's healthcare certificate and degree programs aligned with military experience and civilian career opportunities.
  • Support the Institute's METC relationship and related outreach and recruitment initiatives.
  • Build relationships with veteran organizations, military transition programs, workforce agencies, Veteran Service Officers, and relevant governmental and community organizations.
  • Represent Texas Healthtech at veteran job fairs, military transition events, education fairs, and community outreach programs.
  • Organize information sessions, campus visits, open houses, and targeted recruitment campaigns.
  • Track military/veteran leads, referrals, applications, enrollments, partnerships, and outreach results.
  • Coordinate with Admissions and appropriate personnel regarding available veteran education benefits, workforce funding, grants, and other funding resources.
  • Provide management with periodic updates on enrollment performance, partnerships, and outreach opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • U.S. military veteran strongly preferred, particularly candidates with established military/veteran community relationships.
  • Experience in veteran outreach, military transition, student recruitment, workforce development, admissions, community relations, or business development.
  • Knowledge of veteran education and workforce programs is preferred.
  • Strong communication, networking, relationship-management, presentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant military leadership, recruiting, or outreach experience may be considered.
Success in the Role

Success will be measured through military/veteran student enrollments, qualified leads, strong referral partnerships, effective community outreach, and increased awareness of Texas Healthtech Institute within the military and veteran community.
