Job description

Position Summary 

Provide outpatient nursing care in the Medicine Clinic OP 8 of the Ambulatory Care Research Facility, supporting internal medicine patient visits, assessments, vaccine administration, and protocol-driven outpatient services.

13 weeks with possible extension

M-F 7a to 3:30p or 8a to 4:30p (no weekends or Federal Holidays)

W-2 position. 

$80,000 - $100,000 a year

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree, diploma, or associate degree in Nursing from an accredited university; successful passage of the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). 

  • Licensure: Valid, active RN license in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States. 

  • Certification: Current BLS; ACLS if required by the client. 

  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years of strong, current acute care experience in medical/surgical. (Exceeds the PWS baseline of one year.) 

Role-Specific Requirements 

  • Vaccine administration and monitoring experience preferred. 

  • Current acute care medical/surgical background. 

  • Comfortable in a structured weekday outpatient clinic environ

 This position is contingent upon successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings, which may include a background check, drug test, physical examination, and respirator fit testing in accordance with contract and facility requirements.
