Job description

The Senior Advisor, Learner Experience is a strategic change management lead responsible for shaping how learning, skills taxonomy, and development experiences evolve at Verisk. This role drives adoption of the evolution of Oracle HCM's Skill-related modules, Verisk's enterprise Skills framework, e.g., implementation of new Oracle capabilities, and leading adoption of AI-enabled, modular, and skills-based learning approaches, ensuring they are embedded into Verisk's overall talent strategy and ways of working.

Interfacing with HR leaders, Talent Advisors, and HR Business Partners, this role leads change related to emerging capabilities, including the ongoing evolution of Verisk's skills taxonomy and AI-enabled learning. The role requires strong systems thinking, influence, and the ability to translate complex concepts into practical, enterprise-ready solutions.

  • Design and deliver AI-enabled, modular, and self-directed learning and skill-based development experiences aligned to Verisk's talent and business priorities.

  • Translate evolving skills, AI, and learning concepts into scalable and repeatable experiences that support behavior change and adoption.

Skills, Data, and Talent Enablement

  • Research, analyze, and consult on skills and learning data to inform enterprise career pathways and talent recommendations using Oracle HCM and related tools.
  • Apply systems thinking to connect skills data, learning experiences, and talent outcomes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Partner with Talent Development and HR leadership to evolve Verisk's approach to skills-based development using internal insights and external best practices.

Enterprise Change Management

  • Lead change management for AI-related learning initiatives, enabling leaders, HR, and employees to adopt new tools, mindsets, and behaviors.
  • Lead change management efforts related to the ongoing evolution of Verisk's skills taxonomy, including enablement, communications, and adoption strategies.
  • Influence and align senior stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and consistent application of skills and learner experience initiatives across the organization.

HR and Business Enablement

  • Develop practical tools, playbooks, and guidance that enable Talent Advisors and HR Business Partners to support skill growth, career development, and talent actions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR partners and business leaders on learner experience, skills-based development, and AI-enabled learning.
  • Prepare executive- and stakeholder-ready materials that communicate insights, recommendations, and progress.
