Position Summary
Supports the Center with communications, social media efforts, and the production of marketing materials that advance the Center's initiatives. Supports outreach efforts through the facilitation of programming for high school students.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing or a related field.
Three years of relevant marketing or communications experience.
Excellent writing skills and attention to detail, including knowledge of AP style.
Demonstrated experience facilitating programming for high school students.
Demonstrated experience with digital communications technology, including social media platforms and email management systems.
Strong organizational skills. Strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain positive relationships with staff and consultants.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of Central Michigan University brand standards and guidelines.
Knowledge of search engine optimization, web/social media, and accessibility best practices.
