The Senior Manager, Marketing is responsible for developing, executing and analyzing venue-based marketing, nightlife programming and event strategies that align with the organization's overall objectives, brand standards and financial goals. The Senior Manager, Marketing will be accountable for leading the development and execution of the venue's annual marketing and event program, including innovative programming ideas, talent recommendations, marketing partnerships, promotional activities, advertising strategies, VIP Host engagement, social media and public relations coordination. This position will lead the execution of events and marketing programs on-site and serve as a strategic partner to Venue Operations and Executive Management.

The Senior Manager, Marketing will be highly creative, commercially focused and knowledgeable of the Las Vegas nightlife market, identifying opportunities to drive attendance, increase customer spend, strengthen guest loyalty and develop new sources of business. The Senior Manager, Marketing will have ownership of the venue's brand positioning and market presence, including monitoring and responding to competitor programming, trends and consumer behavior.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Create and execute strategic events and nightlife programming based upon the overall Las Vegas calendar, venue history, business needs, target audience and revenue opportunities
  • Lead the development and execution of annual venue marketing plans in partnership with the Director of Marketing and Venue Leadership
  • Develop innovative marketing strategies and programming designed to increase attendance, customer spend, repeat visitation and overall venue profitability
  • Approve advertising, promotional and marketing collateral to ensure alignment with brand standards and strategic objectives
  • Analyze post-event qualitative and quantitative data, including attendance, revenue, spend and campaign performance, and provide actionable recommendations
  • Recommend talent and oversee the talent marketing process in partnership with the appropriate internal teams
  • Manage venue marketing budgets, invoices and financial tracking to ensure effective allocation of resources
  • Develop and manage client and corporate relationships by engaging organizations attending conferences and identifying opportunities to market the venue to local, national and international businesses
  • Work closely with the Sponsorship team to leverage and maximize the Company's sponsorship capabilities and create incremental value for the venue
  • Work closely with media partners to leverage and maximize event activation opportunities, media exposure and value-added partnerships
  • Closely monitor competitor programming, venue activities, market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive position within the Las Vegas nightlife market
  • Maintain accurate event information and marketing details on event master worksheets, including Event Overviews and One Sheets
  • Develop event advertising and promotional needs and provide direction to the Marketing Coordinator for execution
  • Liaise with internal and external Promotions teams, communicate promotional rules and ensure marketing initiatives are effectively executed across all applicable channels
  • Liaise with VIP Services and Executive Management to maximize pricing, yielding and guest spend opportunities
  • Own and coordinate event communications across Executive Management, Public Relations, Advertising, Promotions, Social Media, Sponsorships, Clients and Operations
  • Communicate with select artist management and artists, providing marketing collateral, event information and support as needed
  • Manage the marketing design process through Asana in partnership with the Design team and ensure creative deliverables meet strategic objectives and deadlines
  • Lead and oversee event-day marketing execution, ensuring all activations, promotions, branding and guest-facing initiatives are executed successfully
  • Develop new sources of customers and business through professional networking, strategic partnerships, local business relationships and complementary brand collaborations
  • Lead the tactical execution of venue brand strategies and ensure consistency across all guest touchpoints
  • Lead the development of new event and nightlife brands and oversee pre-, during- and post-launch marketing strategies and activities
  • Conduct market research, including customer insights, competitor analysis and market positioning, to inform venue programming and marketing strategy
  • Lead re-branding and re-positioning efforts when needed and ensure consistent execution of brand standards
  • Support Private Events and Guest Services by overseeing marketing assets, collateral and promotional needs
  • Develop and oversee branded guest experiences that support the venue's positioning and enhance the overall customer journey
  • Partner closely with Venue Operations, VIP Services, Entertainment, Promotions, Public Relations, Social Media and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing initiatives
  • Provide leadership, direction and mentorship to Marketing team members and support the development of a high-performing venue marketing team
  • Assist and/or complete additional tasks as assigned

EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business or similar discipline
  • Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of nightlife, entertainment, hospitality or venue-based marketing experience, with a proven track record of strategic, financial and creative marketing success
  • Proven experience developing and executing marketing strategies for high-volume nightlife, entertainment or hospitality venues
  • Strong understanding of the Las Vegas nightlife market, including competitors, consumer trends, talent, media, partnerships and promotional channels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze financial and event performance and identify opportunities to drive revenue
  • Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building and project management skills
  • Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, POS Systems, Asana, Oracle knowledge preferred
  • 21+ years of age
