                                                               2ND SHIFT: MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 3:30PM to MIDNIGHT 


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION

  • Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
  • Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
  • Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
  • Inspecting for damages to vehicles.
  • Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs.
  • Operating and managing technical equipment.
  • Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
  • Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
  • Identifying workplace safety hazards.
  • Adhering to safety management standards.
  • Adhering to production schedules.

OTHER SIGNIFICANT JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 2+ years sit-down forklift experience

PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ Years of open dock/warehouse experience
  • RF Scan gun experience

REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.)

  • Verbal and written communication in English with Operations Dock Personnel and Management
  • Must be willing to work overtime (either coming in early or staying late). and potential Saturday work, dependent upon customer/business needs.
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. (Equipment or team lift required if beyond 50 lbs)
  • Attention to detail for verifying order details when picking/packing customer orders
  • May be bi-lingual, but must be able to read, write, and speak English

PREFERRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.)

  • Ability to Multi-task
  • Team-oriented
  • Strong attention to detail

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to dress appropriately depending on weather conditions.
  • Ability to withstand possible extreme cold or heat conditions.
