The  Software and Warranty Operations Associate assists the Software and Warranty Operations Specialists Team in monitoring the lifecycle operations of the company’s Software License, Cloud, Activations, and Warranty business and associated services. The Associate performs administrative and purchasing tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment to potentially manage the lifecycle operations for a small number of Software and Warranty vendors. The Software and Warranty Operations Associate gains personal knowledge of vendor programs and contract procedures to meet vendor program and company audit compliance.

• Assist purchasing activities to learn and gain an understanding of the customer vendor contracts/agreements and program rules for an assigned business segment, including (but not limited to): price lists from vendors/distributors, SKUs, how best cost is negotiated, audits purchase orders for compliance to vendor program specifications and internal controls, ensures internal controls are followed, research and updates ETA’s to set appropriate customer expectations, obtains vendor/distribution authorizations for customer returns and generates reports to support the daily purchasing operations. The Associate uses the activities and reporting to learn the lifecycle operations.
• Monitor team queue, reassigning cases as needed. Submits requests and actions case management regarding the overall lifecycle of Software License, Cloud, Activations and Warranty business within and Warranty business within established Service Level Agreements, including (but not limited to): Orders, ETA, Returns, Activation and Registrations.
• Take appropriate actions necessary to activate and/or register customer purchases based on vendor requirements. Tracks deliverables to close out orders and assists in revenue recognition.
• Develops and maintains relationships and webinars, and conversations with the vendors’ and supplier inside support.

•Basic ability in Microsoft 365 Business applications, which include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio, and SharePoint.
•Attention to detail in composing, keying, and proofing professional business materials. Articulate with the ability to express oneself clearly and professionally in written and oral communication.
•Discreet with demonstrated ability to work in a confidential executive environment using good judgment while acting as an ambassador for the company.
•Routine problem solver in situations where most problems have occurred before and solutions are familiar. Ability to identify when a situation needs to be escalated for a non-standard resolution.
•Process change champion with the ability to identify process improvements and system enhancements in a changing environment.
•Basic working knowledge of Cloud, Software, Activations, and Warranty operation processes and procedures with the ability to advise and train team members.
•Self-directed with the ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet fixed service levels. Quick study with the ability to master a situation or learn new things with minimal direction or training.
