Job Title: Project Manager 3 - IT (Legacy Analytics Modernization)
Location: Austin, TX - Onsite (local candidates only)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager 3 to lead IT initiatives focused on Legacy Analytics Modernization. This role involves planning, budgeting, and overseeing projects to modernize data management and reporting platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and frameworks.
The Project Manager will coordinate across teams, manage resources, and deliver high-quality results on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead IT projects for analytics modernization and reporting.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analytics teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project management documentation, work plans, risk logs, and progress reports.
  • Manage day-to-day project operations, including Agile sprints, backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct procurement activities and develop RFPs to acquire vendor services.
  • Track project budgets, manage resources, and report progress.
  • Identify and manage project risks, coordinating timely resolution.
  • Mentor and lead project teams, ensuring performance and accountability.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience: 8+ years in IT project management.
  • Data Management Expertise: 8+ years in data management solutions (data warehouses, data lakes, analytics/BI, web-based development, or SOA systems).
