Responsibilities

Meet with prospective and current clients to learn about their insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage

Prepare quotes, explain policy details, and help clients make informed decisions

Maintain strong relationships with policyholders through consistent communication and dependable service

Handle policy updates, renewals, and changes with accuracy and care

Identify opportunities to expand coverage while keeping each clients goals in mind

Work closely with agency staff to support a smooth and positive client experience

Stay current on product knowledge, carrier guidelines, and industry updates


Requirements

Active Property & Casualty insurance license

Prior experience in insurance sales, account management, or a related client-facing role

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to build trust and guide clients through coverage options with clarity

Comfort using CRM systems and standard office software

Organized follow-through on quotes, renewals, and policy changes

Familiarity with insurance products and basic underwriting concepts

Preferred: experience working in a local agency setting

Preferred: additional insurance licenses or willingness to obtain them
