POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will assist in managing relationships with top-tier strategic IT vendors including contract negotiations, performance, risk and $260MM spend. The resource will own and understand contractual, commercial, and operational working relationships with vendors to ensure effective delivery of committed products, services, and solutions. This role will work with the Senior Vendor Management Specialist and interact directly with IT leadership. The role will assist in defining and overseeing the management of policy and process associated with IT vendor management functions, including collaboration with business units and stakeholders who may be responsible for adherence to or execution for policy and process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborates with IT executive leadership to build and maintain a Vendor Management program including development of a program governance model.
Segments and rationalizes the vendor portfolio to apply focus on the most strategically important vendor relationships/engagements.
Coordinates with Supply Chain Commercial Advisors and Contract Leads to conduct Request for Proposal (RFP) for strategic vendors and ensure negotiated agreements capture desired deliverables and Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Serves as the leadership-level point of contact between strategic vendors and internal customers consuming vendor services and solutions.
Oversees the development of vendor performance evaluation tools based on stakeholder needs, and the creation of scorecards and dashboards that will accurately present this data.
Manages the on-going collection and communication of reporting and data on strategic vendor contracts, performance, spend, risk and relationships to key stakeholders and vendors.
Partners with IT to maintain a profile of vendor's marketspace products, services and roadmap.
Serves as internal consultant of vendor marketspace, understands IT goals and strategies related to vendor, and ensures sourcing strategies align with vendor/product lifecycle.
Delivers performance feedback to vendor organizations, serves as point of contact for escalation, and oversees action plans and corrective measures arising from the performance management process and drive issues to resolution.
Partners with cross-functional business partners to track and report on vendor financial viability, business continuity, and corporate and regulatory compliance.
Provides oversight to IT vendor audits where required and partner with IT Asset Management to perform true-up/reconciliation activities for strategic vendors.

Works with Strategic IT partners to maximize innovation and investments into MPC's environment

Partners with strategic vendors and internal stakeholders to assess contract leakage, ensuring suppliers adhere to agreed terms and fully deliver on contractual obligations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required.
Six (6) or more years of Supply Chain or business relevant experience.

Approximately 25% travel. Travel time could fluctuate depending on internal customer requirements and projects.
