Responsibilities:

- Lead negotiations for vendor contracts, statements of work, software licensing, pricing, renewals, and commercial agreements within established approval authority.
- Partner with Legal to review, negotiate, and finalize vendor agreements while ensuring compliance with company standards and risk management requirements.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors, suppliers, and business partners to improve service quality, cost efficiency, and business outcomes.
- Monitor vendor performance, service levels, compliance, and contractual obligations while driving corrective actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with IT, Product Owners, Finance, Accounting, Operations, and business leaders to support sourcing, procurement, and vendor governance activities.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, vendor consolidation, process improvements, and risk reduction while developing business cases and recommendations for leadership.
- Support procurement activities by reviewing quotations, purchase requests, licensing agreements, statements of work, and purchase orders.
- Partner with IT Asset Management to forecast technology needs, monitor inventory trends, and proactively engage vendors to minimize operational risk.
- Analyze vendor spend, contract utilization, renewals, and supplier performance to provide meaningful reporting and executive-level recommendations.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for vendor performance issues, contract disputes, invoice discrepancies, and service delivery concerns.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve vendor management policies, procedures, documentation, and governance standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of vendor management and procurement professionals by providing coaching, workload prioritization, and professional development.
- Ensure vendor documentation, contracts, compliance records, and procurement files remain accurate, current, and audit-ready.
- Stay informed of industry trends, software licensing models, cloud technologies, AI solutions, cybersecurity considerations, and supplier market developments to support strategic sourcing decisions.
Qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience negotiating vendor contracts, software licensing agreements, statements of work, pricing, and commercial terms.
- Strong knowledge of procurement practices, contract lifecycle management, vendor governance, supplier performance management, and vendor compliance.
- Experience managing the complete vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence, contract execution, performance management, renewals, escalations, and offboarding.
- Broad understanding of technology procurement, SaaS, cloud services, managed services, software licensing, cybersecurity, and technology vendor pricing models.
- Experience evaluating vendor performance metrics, spend analytics, contract renewals, and supplier reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, communication, and stakeholder influence skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or MBA.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, ITIL, PMP, or other procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or contract management certifications.
