We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Vending Machine Technician to join our team. This role is essential for the efficient operation of our distribution and storage facilities. The Vending Machine Technician will be responsible for the daily maintenance and repairs of Vending Machines in-house or on location. The position will require you to communicate with customers. Professionalism with customers is a standard that is expected of all Mini Melts employees. The position requires all technicians to be detail oriented and to document all services provided. Communication with management is a top priority with any and all aspects of servicing and repairing all vending machines and equipment. Initial training will be provided to any and all employees.

Job description

Job duties are as follows but not limited to:

  • Drives motor vehicles and obeys all laws and transportation procedures.
  • Is responsible for cleaning and maintaining his or her vehicle on a daily basis.
  • Delivery, moving, and installation of vending machines and equipment to and from location as scheduled.
  • Inspecting, diagnosing, and testing of vending machines and equipment.
  • Repairing, maintaining, and servicing of vending machines and equipment.
  • Labeling and tagging of broken equipment & vending machines.
  • Communicating with management about all aspects of daily operations.
  • Communicating and following up with Dex providers (Cantaloupe & Nayax) regarding any installation, dex removal, dex swap & dex issues.
  • Preventive maintenance such as ice scraping, wiping, cleaning & replacing stickers of all vending machines and equipment.
  • Meet customers service expectations through daily communication, problem solving and follow ups.
  • Accurate and proper documentation of all logs required by management.(i.e, maintenance log, dex removal log, etc)
  • In some cases, you must refill and collect payment for vending machines and equipment.
  • It is the responsibility of the vending machine technician to have the proper tools and to communicate with management on any tools or equipment needed to perform daily duties.
  • Route4Me is to be accurately utilized. Dates, times, locations, products, notes, photos & all information needed by Management.
  • Daily start times and working weekends will vary and are subject to change depending on customers needs and Management's requests.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean Driving Record (1 Years)
  • Reliable Transportation to and from work
  • Pre-employment physical and drug test
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work at least 40 hours per week
  • Must Be able to Pass a criminal background check
  • Understanding of DOT Regulations
