  • This position may be based anywhere in the Northeast region in the United States (New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Connecticut, Massachusetts) and includes travel as part of the responsibilities.
Job Summary

Provides startup, troubleshooting, and end user training for lighting control systems. Can easily read lighting and floor plans and interpret specifications to ensure system installations match the plans and meet the end user's expectations. Has enough expertise to handle complex jobs and work with both internal and external stakeholders to address concerns and drive for project completion.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
  • Performs onsite lighting and control startup, troubleshooting and end user training (55%)
  • Provides expert support for both internal and external customers as it pertains to field applications of product (30%)
  • Creates and maintains relationships with key stakeholders to provide differentiated service (10%)
  • Provides engineering support and communicates cross-functionally with other departments (5%)
Skills and Minimum Experience Required
  • Associate's Degree or Technical Degree or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant technical experience 
  • Working general computer skills, including but not limited to e-mail, spread sheet, word processing, and data entry
  • Strong communication, both written and oral
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Understanding of basic electrical components (relays, drivers, ballasts...)
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience with problem solving client facing technical issues
  • Understanding of lighting control systems
Travel Requirements
  • 81-100%

  • This is a remote role with 90% travel from Monday to Friday, allowing weekends at home
  • Candidates should reside in the Northeast Region, as most travel will occur within this area (New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Connecticut, Massachusetts.)

The range for this position is $48,100.00 to $78,000. This is a salaried position that is overtime eligible. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant's experience and geographic location.
