TMI Calibration, established in 1991, is an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory offering full-service calibration, repair, and asset management solutions for test equipment. With multiple labs across the U.S., TMI specializes in automated and on-site calibrations, cleanroom certifications, and customized technical services.


Position Overview:

We’re seeking a Temperature Calibration Technician to join our Atlanta team. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy of temperature and electronic measurement devices, including thermocouples, RTDs, multimeters, data loggers, and environmental chambers.


Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate test equipment (Thermometers, temperature baths/chambers, temperature controllers, thermocouples, precision RTDs/PRTs/ SPRTS, and data loggers)
  • Maintain NIST-traceable, A2LA-accredited ISO/IEC 17025 standards
  • Generate detailed calibration reports and certificates
  • Troubleshoot and maintain calibration equipment
  • Collaborate on improving calibration procedures
  • Support audits with technical expertise


Requirements and Skills:

  • Experience in temperature and electrical calibration (AC/DC, temperature, electrical, etc)
  • Preferred: DOD, PMEL, or military calibration background
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship/Permanent Resident status required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
