Job Description:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering
  • Establishes vehicle level attributes and requirements.
  • Leads problem solving engineering issues.
  • Expert in CANalyzer, Somat, Dewsoft.
  • Responsible for EV vehicle testing and troubleshooting.
  • Expert in OTA, OTI & electrical testing.
  • Manages validation planning and execution including engine and vehicle builds.
  • Expert working on heavy trucks class 5 & 8
  • Must require CDL license to drive school bus and heavy truck.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology
  • At least 5 years of experience in product vehicle testing.

Desired Skills:

  • Aptitude for troubleshooting issues in an ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to identify root cause, contain, and permanently correct engineering issues.
  • EV and/or Diesel experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in-person, on the phone, and by email.
  • Well-versed in commercial class 8 fleet trucks, trailers, and on-highway norms.
  • Knowledgeable of DoT requirements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiar with Calibration tools like INCA and Canalyzer.
  • Familiar with performing software updates with service tools like Cummins InSIte, SDS, or other service tools.
  • Familiar with CAN based data links and communication protocols.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment.
