Job description

We have an immediate opening for an Vehicle Condition Inspector to work full time.  We are looking for a detail orientated, self motivated, hard working person to fill the important position.

  • Compensation based on experience, starting rate between $ 18.00 and $ 22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete thorough inspection of auction vehicles for signs of damage; including but not limited to wear, tear, previous repair, mechanical, or structural.
  • Photograph vehicles ensuring mileage, damages, and mechanical status are accurately reported.
  • Deliver consistent and accurate results in a timely manner, maintaining productivity levels as set forth by management.
  • Maintain equipment and tools properly, including operation of vehicle lift.
  • Work well with others.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old. 
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and have reliable transportation.
  • Friendly and customer service focused.
  • Reliable, organized, and self motivated. 
  • Mechanical experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to enter data on an iPad.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions for duration of shift.
  • Ability to safely and successfully load cars onto a vehicle lift. 
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check.
