Job description

Position: Senior Vehicle Engineer
Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Seeking a Senior Vehicle Engineer with 7+ years of experience in vehicle product development, mechanical design, and new product introduction. Must have strong expertise inDFMEA, DVP, APQP, Design BOM management, Engineering Release Plans, and vehicle component development from concept through production. Experience with DFMEA, DVP, APQP, Design Reviews, DFM, supplier collaboration, and cross-functional engineering teams is required. Strong knowledge of plastics manufacturing (injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, thermoforming) and metal manufacturing processes (stamping, die casting, welding, extrusion) is essential. Hands-on experience with FEA, value engineering, competitive benchmarking, root cause analysis (8D/9-Step), and project leadership is highly preferred. Prior experience in automotive, utility vehicles, golf cars, off-road vehicles, or similar vehicle-related industries is strongly desired. Bachelor''s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
