Backed by over 100 years of vegetable expertise, the company continues to encourage new ideas and empower its global team to shape the future of vegetables. Tokita Seed America was established in 2012 and is based in Hollister, California.

We are a small, dedicated team focused on bringing Tokita's exceptional vegetable varieties to growers across North America. We value reliability, curiosity, and a genuine interest in the work we do. Role Description: Seed Warehouse Associate Structure: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt, on-siteLocation: Hollister, California ResponsibilitiesPack and ship orders with high efficiency and accuracy. Conduct seed counts and coordinate treatment, pelleting, or other processing as needed; maintain accurate records.Assist with inventory counts.Track inventory of warehouse packing and shipping supplies to ensure adequate stock, request order placement as needed.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) as they apply to the various processes of the warehouse and office.Utilize forklift safely and effectively as needed (training will be provided).Communicate clearly, effectively, and cordially with global team members via email, phone, and in-person. Actively participate in team meetings. Required Qualifications:Associate’s degree in related field or 2 years related experience.Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Google Suite.Basic knowledge of seed industry (germination, purity, etc.) and warehouse operations.Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to carefully follow directions.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure that work is completed accurately in a timely manner.Written and verbal proficiency in English.

(Spanish is a plus.)Driver’s license and clean driving record.Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time and periodically lift up to 45 pounds (20 kg). Compensation: $22-24 hourly, payable according to the Company’s standard payroll schedule and practices. The following benefits are also included:Medical, dental and vision insurance (75% covered by the company).  Generous PTO policy and 10 paid holidays.401(k) matching contributions up to 4%.Paid parental leave.
