We are looking for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Team Lead with strong Denvermarket presence who can drive new business while serving as a trusted advisor to sophisticated CRE clients. The ideal candidate brings deep CRE market expertise, a proven track record of portfolio growth, and the ability to independently source complex lending opportunities.

Essential Functions:

  • Lender responsible for acquiring, analyzing and maintaining lending client relationships.
  • Provides suitable credit, deposit or other banking services as well as counsel and advice to best meet clients' needs.
  • Analyzes risks and profitability of assigned client base to ensure ongoing profitability and conformity with credit terms.
  • Solicits the sale of additional products and services to best meet the needs of clients.
  • Develops and implements marketing plans for expanding business.
  • Negotiates loan terms and conditions. Remains well versed in industrial, economic and financial situations relating to assigned clients.
  • May be assigned specialized industry or market segments.
  • Supports and upholds employment policies including bank and branch goals, objectives and regulations.
  • Independently sources new commercial real estate lending opportunities through established referral networks, centers of influence, and market presence.
  • Manages complex credit relationships, including larger loan sizes, multiple borrowing entities, and sophisticated ownership structures.
  • Partners with credit, portfolio management, and treasury teams to structure creative yet prudent financing solutions.
  • Provides leadership and mentorship to junior lenders or portfolio managers, as appropriate.
  • Represents the bank at industry, networking, and community events to enhance brand visibility and market share.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelors degree and 15 years' commercial lending as a Relationship Manager/Lender, credit, banking product and sales experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Significant management experience as a Team Leader developing lenders, portfolio managers and underwriters/credit analysts.
  • Proven experience in managing a team of 10 employees.
  • Significant lending experience with the following product types preferred: Industrial, Office, Retail, Multifamily, Senior Housing, Hospitality, Production Home Builder (Public & Private), LIHTC/Affordable Housing, Charter Schools & Metro Districts.
  • Knowledge of both Agency and CMBS debt structures
  • Demonstrated success managing and growing a sizable CRE loan portfolio with strong asset quality metrics.
  • Deep understanding of commercial real estate underwriting, including construction, bridge & permanent loans.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationshipmanagement skills with the ability to influence decision.
  • Established market presence and professional network within the Denver commercial real estate community preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge as a generalist or specialist for unique customer product segments.
  • Advanced knowledge of bank products and emerging lending and loan management theories.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment and credit discipline.

Compensation:

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $180,000 - $235,000 annually, depending on jobrelated factors such as experience level and location.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, expertise, location, education, and certifications.
