Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking an OT Clinical Leader - Outpatient to join the team. This position will provide coverage at our Bon Air and Short Pump (Main Campus) Centers. The Outpatient Therapy OT Clinical Leader provides quality, comprehensive, patient-centered occupational therapy services including patient examination (ages 13+), development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with team members, and clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non-licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers. In addition to clinical responsibilities, serves as a mentor, program leader heavily involved in program development, and knowledge translator.
Compensation
  • $35.88 - $53.04 per hour

Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous experience in outpatient therapy preferred.
  • At least 3 years' experience with a specialty population of interest.

Education/Certifications
  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program required.
  • Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited occupational therapy program and/or a specialty practice certification preferred.
  • Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Occupational Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required.
  • Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.
  • Board certified clinical specialist strongly preferred.
  • Healthcare Professionals CPR required.
