Responsibilities
Own end-to-end implementation and execution of high-impact customer engagements
Gather customer requirements and determine the best way to apply AI automations to existing workflows
Build customer-specific features and integrations that become part of the core product
Collaborate closely with engineering, product, customer success, and enterprise customers
Deliver production-ready solutions in a fast-paced startup environment
What we're looking for
2-4 years as a Forward Deployed Engineer or Backend Engineer with customer-facing experience
Experience at a VC-backed AI startup or other well-funded tech company
Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript
Experience building production software using LLMs and AI agents
Demonstrated experience building and deploying customer-facing technical solutions
Excellent technical documentation and communication skills, comfortable with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another STEM discipline
Able to work on-site five days per week in San Francisco
Nice to have
Former founding engineer or early startup engineer
Experience building AI automations and enterprise integrations
Passion for solving customer problems over internal platform development
Comfortable with a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities
