Role: Oracle HCM Cloud Solution Architect
Location:
Alpharetta, GA OR Oakland, CA
Duration: Long-Term
Job Type: Contract (W2)

Responsibilities

  • Lead solution design, architecture, and implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud applications.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle HCM solutions.
  • Configure and support Oracle HCM Cloud modules including:
    • Core HR
    • Recruiting (ORC)
    • Absence Management
    • Time & Labor (OTL)
    • Payroll
    • Compensation
    • Talent Management
    • Benefits
  • Design and implement Oracle Redwood UI and Visual Builder Studio (VBS) personalizations.
  • Provide leadership on annual business cycles, regulatory changes, and system enhancements.
  • Develop functional specifications, configuration documents, and solution design artifacts.
  • Support integrations, reporting, data validation, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Perform SQL query writing and data analysis to validate business requirements and system behavior.
  • Lead testing efforts including FIT, SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance, and Disaster Recovery testing.
  • Facilitate workshops, functional reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Drive best practices, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives across Oracle HCM solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Solution Architect supporting Oracle HCM solutions.
  • Extensive Oracle HCM Cloud implementation experience with multiple full lifecycle deployments.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Core HR
    • Recruiting Cloud (ORC)
    • Absence Management
    • Oracle Time & Labor (OTL)
    • Payroll
  • Experience with Oracle Redwood UI and Visual Builder Studio (VBS).
  • Strong solution architecture and business process design experience.
  • Experience configuring Oracle HCM Cloud modules and supporting complex business requirements.
  • Strong understanding of annual HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation cycles.
  • Experience creating:
    • Functional Specifications
    • Solution Design Documents
    • Test Scripts
    • Use Cases
    • Process Flows
  • Hands-on SQL query writing, data validation, and reporting experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Compensation, Talent Management, and Benefits modules.
  • Techno-functional expertise including integrations, reporting, HDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI, and BI Publisher.
  • Experience with Jira and Agile project delivery methodologies.
  • Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall SDLC frameworks.
  • Oracle Cloud certifications preferred.
