Description

Divine Mercy University, a Catholic graduate school for psychology, counseling and spiritual direction, invites applications for the full-time position of Director of Marketing to work in Sterling VA (CUA Campus in Washington, DC starting in July 2027).   This role reports to the Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing.


You will join a vibrant and growing marketing and admissions team dedicated to innovating processes to create data-driven results and efficiencies.  


As the leader of the Marketing team with a Catholic vision, you will provide the strategic direction in the development, as well as support the execution of marketing plans that are supported by qualitative and quantitative research. In this role, you will work with a cross-functional group which includes creative, compliance, contact team, communications, admissions and IT to engage in business decisions that impact media placement, student contact strategies, campus and outreach operations including PR, and student outcomes. It will be your daily responsibility to continue developing a deeper understanding of our customers, markets, competitors and processes to Divine Mercy University's mission.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise graphic design and social media staff.
  • Conduct or facilitate research and conduct applicable tests to collect information that supports decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Enrollment and Marketing in the development and maintenance of a strategic plan for the area, consistent with the Catholic identity and values of Divine Mercy University.
  • Provide leadership in direct response/lead generation marketing and conversion process through creative and campaign management.
  • Develop and manage the annual marketing budgets by constant evaluation of media channels to optimize performance; perform overall forecasting of advertising spending against lead goals that would support the admissions funnel.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team that manages student outreach, campus and admissions operations in implementing strategies for exceptional customer experience.
  • Observe and influence media buying in partnership with marketing channel leaders.
  • Maintain deep understanding of data road map and multiple systems used across the organization
  • Ensures that Marketing team's responsibilities to meet the operational requirements of the Federal, State and Divine Mercy University's governing bodies are met in timely manner.
  • Oversees other administrative processes to promote efficient and trouble-free function of the department.
  • Provide oversight and guidance of marketing and admissions CRM/SIS system in collaboration with the Director of Admissions.
  • Manage vendor relations relevant to the marketing effort.
