You will report to the associate medical director.
Humana's Primary Care Organization is one of the largest and fastest-growing senior-focused, value-based care providers in the country.
We are looking for a primary care physician to join our team working at CenterWell Primary Care clinics based in Apopka and surrounding offices depending on the location needs.

Responsibilities

  • You will deliver comprehensive outpatient care to adult and senior patients.
  • You will maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • You will diagnose and manage moderately to complex medical conditions.
  • You will coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialist.
  • You will participate in clinical quality improvement projects.
  • You will work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
  • You will contribute to strategic programs and innovations in care delivery.

Use your skills to make an impact

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Florida.
  • Board certification or board eligible in family medicine, internal medicine, or geriatric medicine.
  • Experience in chronic condition management or managing high-acuity geriatric patients.
  • Commitment to improving patient experience and outcomes.
  • If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Must be willing to participate in limited on-call coverage by phone

Other qualifications:

  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and digital documentation.
  • Experience supervising advanced practice providers

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
