Job description

Bring investment insights to life by transforming market data into actionable portfolio strategies. In this role, you'll partner with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver asset allocation guidance, investment analysis, and reporting that drives informed decisions and strengthens long-term relationships.
Core Responsibilities
  • Researches client needs and provides internal partners and clients with asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment analyses. Develops supporting documentation and meets with clients to deliver findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborates with internal investment, finance, and sales partners to respond to investment-related questions or requests from clients and prospects. Travels with internal partners to provide investment expertise and represent Vanguard at client meetings.
  • Maintains and produces quarterly client summaries, dashboards, and other reports. Ensures reporting accuracy by researching and resolving discrepancies.
  • Serves as a department expert on data systems and analytical tools.
  • Maintains an in-depth understanding of capital markets, asset management, and the Financial Services industry, as well as a deep awareness of competitors and the performance of Vanguard and non-Vanguard funds. Contributes subject matter expertise to Vanguard's external publications.
  • Guides and mentors junior level crew to improve their investment acumen.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Five years experience in the Financial Services industry or client services preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
  • CFA or CFP preferred.
  • This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC). These will be determined by Compliance based on role-specific duties.
