Job description

Staffing Coordinator and Central Supply

Location: Newtown, Pennsylvania

Job Summary:

As a dedicated and organized Staffing Coordinator and Central Supply at Buckingham Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and scheduling workers to meet PPD and labor regulations, while also providing administrative support to the Human Resources department. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring the nursing units are fully ordered and stocked with the supplies that they will need on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience with Workday and OnShift is a plus, utilizing these platforms to track PTO and overtime, as well as scheduling and planning for staffing needs.

  • Plan, organize, and schedule workers to ensure PPD and labor regulations are fulfilled, while also maintaining accurate records.

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, including time slips and PTO requests.

  • Manage 2-week rotating cycles, master grids, and alternating holiday schedules without creating coverage gaps.

  • Handle last-minute "no-call, no-shows" while simultaneously planning for a holiday shift three months away.

  • Physical Requirements: ability to lift boxes (often up to 30 lbs.), push/pull cart, bend, pull, and organize stockrooms and take inventory and restock.
