If you're a veterinarian who wants to practice high-impact, meaningful medicine without burning out, we want to meet you. Wenatchee Valley Humane Society is hiring a Shelter Veterinarian to provide care to vulnerable pets while working alongside a supportive, mission-driven team.
This position includes mentorship from our Director of Veterinary Services and relief vets experienced in HQHVSN, making it ideal for a vet looking to sharpen their surgical skills, step into shelter medicine, or simply practice in a place that truly values their work.
What You'll Do
- Deliver medical care for shelter animals (exams, diagnostics, treatment planning)
- Perform or assist with high-quality spay/neuter and community outreach surgeries
- Be mentored in best practices for HQHVSN, shelter medicine, and TNR
- Help guide team-based, humane euthanasia decisions
- Work with skilled LVTs and veterinary assistants who have your back
