Job description

Job Summary:
Valley Health System is seeking a Manager of Core Technology Operations and Security to oversee computer systems and cybersecurity. The role involves ensuring the successful operation of technology systems and managing the Information Systems staff.
Responsibilities:
• Assume primary responsibility for computer systems, servers, system operations, and cybersecurity.
• Ensure the successful operation of computer systems and cybersecurity for the Valley Health System.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or equivalent education/experience required
• Significant experience with servers, operating systems, email systems, cybersecurity systems, virtualization, network technology (switches, routers, etc.), backup systems, and other information technology
• Experience in managing a hybrid cloud environment
• Experience managing all aspects of Information Systems staff
• Effective communication and interactive skills required
• Ability to work under stressful situations required
Preferred:
• Master's degree preferred
• ITIL certification a plus
