TheQualification Testing: Hybrid&PMBD ICE(QTHP)teamoperatesin a fast-paced, dynamic environment within theVehicle&Propulsion Controlsdepartment. Our missionis to isolate software bugs inelectrified and ICE powertrains, ensuring the delivery of robust, high-quality software to the development fleet.

TheControls Validation Engineerrole is ideal for self-starters eager to develop a deep understanding ofpowertrain control subsystemsand contribute to delivering world-class vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and executeDesign Verification Plans (DVPs) for propulsion system requirements testing.
  • Critically evaluaterequirements, design DVPs, and conduct testing.
  • Determinetheappropriate testingenvironmentfor each test case (e.g.,HILor vehicle).
  • Support OBD diagnostic validation testing.
  • Perform issue pre-analysistoidentifypotential root causes and solutions.
  • Identifycritical and edge-case maneuversto expose potential failures.
  • Conduct testingon propulsion system architectures usingHardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and vehicles.
