About the Role

Exceptional Roofing, LLC is excited to announce an opening for a Construction Project Manager to join our growing team. This full-time position is ideal for professionals seeking to advance their careers in the commercial construction field. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of project management—from initiation through completion—ensuring that every project meets our company’s high standards for quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Please note that this is a hands-on role and not eligible for remote work. Candidates should be prepared for regular travel to job sites and capable of managing projects directly in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing professional communication and consistent updates.

  • Coordinate with foremen, crews, suppliers, and subcontractors to keep projects on track and within budget.

  • Manage materials and inventory: order, track, verify deliveries, and maintain accurate usage records to prevent shortages or waste.

  • Review project documents, contracts, and drawings for accuracy and compliance.

  • Monitor progress, costs, and labor while proactively resolving challenges to ensure efficiency.

  • Maintain essential project documentation, including reports, change orders, submittals, and RFIs.

  • Conduct site visits to check progress, verify quality standards, ensure safety compliance, and confirm proper materials management.

  • Enforce OSHA and company safety requirements on all job sites.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction or carpentry and 2–3 years of project management experience.

  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate multiple crews and vendors effectively.

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and job site processes.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Proficient with common office and project management tools, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets.

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

  • Comfortable with frequent travel and overnight stays.
