Job description

F.tech R&D North America Inc. seeks Engineer, Validation. Duties: Evaluate validation requirements from automotive clients and develop adequate test methods and design the jigs; Prepare test reports and present reports to clients as needed; Prepare independent FEA model setup and Model check to ensure accurate analysis; Document test procedures, programs, and test systems; Create and maintain engineering validation and analysis reports like ADVPR and communicate with client on a timely basis; Prepare project reports and attend meetings; Control project schedules to ensure proper timing; Conduct FEA-Test correlation studies; Serve as a liaison between customer and different company groups; Assign jobs to technician and check model setup and accuracy; Make technical recommendations that positively affect the direction of a project and the department; Lead product testing by working with design engineers and set schedules and coordinate test activities with support from within the department to assure timely project completion; Maintain high standards and develop test strategies or plans using applicable standards and tools; Analyze a variety of data to identify root cause and propose effective countermeasures; Assist in validation solutions prior to testing; Assist in research and development projects; Participate in needs analysis and attend and perform the requirements of scheduled training and educational programs; Make recommendations to increase both personal and team efficiency and productivity; Work collaboratively with project teams and the business to evaluate solutions; and Assist in training and production release support.

Job Site: 1911 Horizon West Court, Troy, OH 45373. Requires Bachelorโ€™s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or a related field. Requires 6 months of experience in the job offered or in Validation Engineering. Requires experience with FEA testing, Finite Element Modeling, CAE Modeling, Hyperworks, and Abaqus. Must live within commuting distance of Troy, OH.
